Format: Four Person Best Ball (2 Net ball), each player plays their own ball on each hole.
Record all gross scores on scorecard. The Professional staff will score the two net balls for
each team. All players will receive 80% handicap.
Course Set-Up:
All male contestants will play from the BLUE tees.
All female contestants will play from the RED tees.
1. All USGA rules apply, except where modified by local rules.
2. Pace of play is crucial, Slow play, (Rule 6-7) a group will be considered out of position
when they are more than 1 hole behind the group preceding them for 2 consecutive
holes. After one warning subsequent infraction may be penalized by one stroke, next
offence 2 strokes, and subsequent offence disqualification.
3. Clarification of rule 3-3, if a competitor is doubtful of his rights or the correct
procedures during the play of a hole he may, without penalty, complete the hole with
two balls. After the doubtful situation has arisen and before further action, the
competitor must announce to his marker or a fellow-competitor that he or she intends
to play two balls and which ball he wishes to count if the rules permit.
4. Scorecards, Accurate scoring is essential. Two signatures are required on each official
scorecard. The official scorecard must be returned to the Golf Professional at the
completion of play this constitutes final submission. Any questions regarding scoring
must be resolved prior to scorecard submission. The penalty for failure to comply with
rule 6-6 is disqualification.
5. Inclement weather policy: When the field is notified about play being suspended,
immediately mark you position the golf course and seek shelter. In event of suspension
of play the committee will determine appropriate course of action (resumption of play,
canceling a round, modification of stipulated round.)
6. Tie breaker, USGA recommended 9-6-3-1. Any remaining ties will be broken starting
with the team score on the men’s hardest handicapped holes.
