Silk strips, silk fibers, silk ribbons, and silk threads, in turn are attached to a muslin base by machine stitching and are held in place by a layer of tulle. This layering of fiber and stitching form Impressionistlike images which offer special creativity. “Color blending” can be achieved with the help of instant-set silk dyes.
