Also with mechanically operating machines MÜCARD Special features – Software devised by knitting specialists and machines from one maker who is familiar with customers' needs (continuous process sequence). – User-friendly processing of pattern images and knitting patterns with all supplementary conditions required for first class knits – Conversion of the pattern from draft to finished narrow fabric. – Reliable, modern, user-oriented operating interface. – 3½" diskette drive for direct reading into the machine. – MÜCARD networked with the machines (MÜCAM) for on-line pattern transfer. Design patterns Following digitalisation (scanning), the motifs can be further processed in MÜCAD design and then passed to MÜCARD2. Designs from all standard image processing programs (z.B. CorelDraw, Corel PaintShop Pro, Adobe Photoshop) can be imported, along with images direct from digital cameras and scanners in *.bmp und *.jpg formats. The most important functions MÜCARD2 offers a diversity of functions for the search, production, copying, storage and processing of article cards: – Extensive search functions with graphic display of the design – Support of configurations with a maximum of 26 ground and pattern bars and very long repeat lengths (speed 1, speed 2, speed 4, overspeed) – Simple setting, copying, shifting and removal of the thread guides – Comfortable allocation of standard patterns onto whole bars or individual thread guides – Extensive pattern processing functions via the mouse and numerical inputs – Semi-automatic generation of the pattern from background graphics – Collision checks with deviation displays – Control of thread feeding with graphic allocation to the bars – Simple setting and removal of needles and picot – Registration of text areas on the pattern and complete production texts – Yarn consumption calculation MÜCARD2 facilitates design creation by enabling the chain link arrays to be printed out. Detailed information concerning the hard- and software requirements is contained in the PZ-sheet 5053. The software is available in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and Turkish. Main MÜCARD2 windows Draft Archiv Scanner Internet design studio Digital picture file library Pattern processing design software 1 Knitting pattern 2 Warp finger 3 Feed pattern MÜCARD2 Following motif selection (scanned from design), the actual patterning process takes place using MÜCARD2. This contains pattern processing and implementation for knitting machine control. Machine data pattern software Storage of various bar configurations Knitting machine Print-outs The following information can be printed out for machine setting – Knitting protocol with yarn list and material consumption – Pattern image and racking pattern – Thread guide setting with article number – Allocation of the thread guide – Warp finger and cam list with article number and total for the mechanical RB, RC, RD machines Programming of downstream knitting machines Data exchanges with all electronically controlled Müller knitting machines is possible in order to increase productivity. This occurs bi-directionally with the following machines: MDR2 42 UPT format MDK80 UPT format RD3MT3 UPT format GWM1200 indirectly using an auxiliary program The presentation characteristics can be individually selected MÜCARD2 MÜCARD2 software, a Jakob Müller AG development, has been designed for the cost-efficient creation of patterns and the programming of electronically controlled warp crochet knitting machines producing tapes, technical knits, ropes and nets.
