Knitting loom
Double cuff with triple looping for sock wool of
needle sizes 2-2.5
Buy a knitting loom and opt for a world first in knitting socks.
Previously unthinkable, this tool is now writing needlework
history.
Knitting socks without knitting pins – hard to believe, yet true.
Novices and converts will be thrilled to see how easy it is to use.
Novices will realise they need no prior knitting knowledge to
produce amazing results.
Converts will be delighted not only by the fact that their usual
wool consumption is reduced by almost half, but also that the
loom can work at least four wool thicknesses. Better still, the
knitting loom not only knits socks – it is just as useful for arm
and leg warmers, doll’s clothes, cuddly toys and dainty little bags.

1.
Slide the yarn from the top through the centre of the knitting loom.
Loop the yarn anticlockwise around peg 1L, then around pegs 1R,
2R, 3R, etc. The first looping round is finished when peg 1L has been
looped twice.
Once you have knitted a length of approx. 6 cm, start working the
double cuff. Start by decreasing the number of stitches on peg 1L
from three to two.
The knitting loom is small, compact and handy. It avoids getting
your fingers in a knot, throws you for a loop with a neat and tidy
pattern, and guarantees successful results, every time.
Enjoy! Your Prym team

Loop two more rounds. The required number of stitches has been
“cast on” when peg 1L has been looped four times. Now start casting
off.

Use the cast-off needle to take up the edge stitches of the bottom
edge and lift each over the pegs. Each peg now has three stitches left.

Using the cast-off needle, take up the bottom stitches and lift each over
the pegs. After casting off, peg 1L has three stitches left, all other pegs
have two stitches. The next looping round starts with peg 1R and ends
with peg 1L. Now, alternate between casting off and looping a round.

6.
Finish the cuff by reducing the number of stitches on all pegs to two.
The following looping round starts with 1L and ends with 1L. 1L now
has four stitches again. The leg is worked as usual by alternating
cast-off and looping rounds.
