Simple and easy-to-use household computer-controlled sewing machine

On the 1st of August, JUKI launches the simplified "HZL-K Series" computer-controlled sewing machine,
which has been developed to achieve an affordable price by narrowing down its functions to just the basic
ones.
The HZL-K Series is a simplified sewing machine provided with basic sewing capabilities such as straight
stitching, zigzag stitching and buttonholing. Since the sewing machine is controlled by a computer, it
automatically adjusts the zigzag width and the stitch length to the best-suited ones according to the sewing
pattern selected by the user. The sewing machine saves the user the trouble of setting data before
starting sewing and displays the user-selected pattern and the sewing machine status with a lamp or
display. These user-friendly specifications are helpful to beginners or elder people who are not familiar with
the use of sewing machines.
The HZL-K Series is not only placed in the domestic market, but also in the European and U.S. markets, as
well as Asian markets to boost sales by making the most out of JUKI's distribution network of industrial
sewing machines.

●Start/stop button indicates the sewing machine status
The large start/stop button lights up in green, red and orange according to the sewing machine
status.
When the green light is lit, the sewing machine is able to start sewing. When the red light is lit, the
sewing machine is in the preparation state. When the orange light is lit, the bobbin is being wound.
●Direct pattern selection with a large and illuminated button (only for the K65)
The sewing machine has large buttons which indicate a pattern design and presser foot pattern.
When one of the patterns is selected, the corresponding button lights up to allow the user to confirm
the selected pattern at a glance.
●150 patterns including 1 font of letters (only for the K85)
The sewing machine, provided with many different kinds of decorative stitch patterns, enables the
continuous sewing of a decorative stitch pattern and the combined sewing of different single
patterns.
●Automatic Lock Stitch function
The sewing machine automatically performs lock stitch at the beginning and end of sewing to
prevent the seam from unraveling. One of the two kinds of lock stitch, "reverse stitch" or "
reinforcement stitch", can be selected.
●Other Features
The sewing machine is of a "three-quarter" size, which is the most common on the market. This size
is compact and permits easy handling.
The sewing machine is provided with many capabilities such as the pattern size changing,
needle-entry position changing and LED lamp, which brightly illuminates the needle entry area to
promise comfortable sewing.
