Dear Members and Non-members;
2nd Annual Spring Pigeon Swap Meet. Thanks for all the members
participating in our 3 May 2015 table show. We had lots fun, and had junior
members also participating in our table show. Thanks to junior members;
Chris (11), Adam (7), and Anabelle (4) Ser Vang showing their pigeons
(American Show Racers Breed) and having fun talking pigeon and enjoying
seating on lawn chair, eating hot dogs and chips. See all the photos at the end
of this newsletter.
Picnic. It’s that time of the year to gather for a picnic in Ken’s place. This year
is going by fast. Please Join Us for CCPC Annual Picnic Event on 7 June (Sunday
at noon) at Ken’s place. The club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs and
thanks to Ken to continue hosting the picnic in his place and cooking us the
great BBQ. Members each will bring a dish of choice and raffle items. We are
going to have many items to raffle including pigeon related items such as
pigeon feed, supply, and birds. You can bring any items to raffle for the club.
Do not forget; bring old or young birds for table show. Entries are only 50 cent
per bird. There will be champion and reserve champion trophies for adult and
junior members.
Please pass the word to friends and family, bring kids, and have a fun day with
us on 7 June 2015 CCPC Annual Picnic.
As always, Share your photos and experience with our club, I will publish them
in our newsletter and website. Enjoy Stan’s article in this issue. I hope, we’ll
get to hear from you sharing your stories with us.

Minutes of CCPC bi-monthly meeting held on 3 May 2015
1. Meeting called to order by Ken, Club President in Fresno Racing Pigeon Club (FRPC)
Building
2. Hoss called a moment of silence in memory of his best friend, Khosrow Ebrahimi and his
brother-in-law Santos Perez. Khosrow was pigeon fancier and Santos was a bird lover
mostly love birds.
3. Minutes for Approve 8 February 2015 were approved ….Approve 3 May 2015 Minutes
4. March Financial Report for CCPC by Nancy:
 3/26/2015---CCPC balance was $12,004.55.
 Hoss will itemize $ 359.37 expense on next newsletter.
5. Correspondence:
a. Stan mailed articles to Hoss for use.
b. Hoss updated State Franchise on 2013 and 2014 taxes.
c. Hoss ordered Purebred Magazine for Gorton winner of 2014 year end raffle () and
Candice Lawrence a copy of Book of Standard.
d. Hoss also order a purebred Magazine for the club.
6. New news:
a. Per Mou Ser Vang, American show racers will be back to Cavalcade this year.
b. Per Ken, Bill Schlieper of American Show Racer Club passed away.

any suggestions to improve.
9. Items Discussed in this Meeting:
a. Discussed Picnic plans:
i. Ken: need more members bringing drinks and raffle items
ii. Nancy: to e-mail Hoss list of food items, which are:
Green Salad by Hoss, Potato Salad & Cupcakes by Nancy,
Chili Beans and case of water by Stan, Case of water by Felipe

a. Update on Dennis’s investigation.
b. Stu to discuss several item for improving club.
c. Stan will donate 24 shirts to club for Cavalcade.
Note: there were no Officers Meeting this period…but Hoss talked with Dennis
regarding Cavalcade Investigation…they will draft a formal letter. Stu talked with
Hoss about ideas for improving club. Stan talked with Hoss on t-shirts for the
Cavalcade….Hoss doubled his order to 48 t-shirts
