The purpose of the guild is to promote and educate the
community in the fiber arts. It is comprised of individual
fiber artists and others interested in the craft. Participation is
open to anyone who wishes to become a member.

STUDY GROUPS
Annual Show and Sale
All Guild members from beginner to expert are welcome to participate
in our study groups. Other groups may be formed, depending on
members’ interest. Informal “play days” such as chemical dyeing,
basket weaving, and silk reeling are also held in members’ homes.
Meetings will be announced in the Guild newsletter and on the Guild
email list.
First Friday and Saturday in November, 4:00-9:00 pm (F) and 10:00am 4:00pm (S), at Hessel Park Christian Reformed Church,
700 W. Kirby Ave., Champaign.
The Wild & Wonderful Weavers meet at 6:30 pm the third Tuesday of the

Publications
The Friday Spinners meet on the 3rd Friday of the month, 1:00-3:00 pm,
usually at a member’s home. Contact Ann Marlow, [email protected]
The “Saturday” Spinners meet from 2:00-4:00 pm at a member’s home.

The Fiber Event
GENERAL MONTHLY MEETINGS
All meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month, September
through May, at Hessel Park Christian Reformed Church, 700 West
Kirby Ave., Champaign, unless otherwise announced in the newsletter.
A hospitality period hosted by a member begins at 7:00pm, with the
meeting beginning at 7:30pm. Typical meetings include a business
meeting and a program on some aspect of the fiber arts. Visitors are
always welcome!
Third Friday and Saturday in April, 10:30am -7:00pm (F) and 9:00am5:00pm (S). The guild hosts an information booth at The Fiber Event,
held at the Putnam County Fairgrounds, Greencastle, Indiana.
