Annie Jr Costume Needs
Chorus Groups
Orphans- You DO have a “hard knock life” and it shows! Your clothes should look like they have been donated
to Goodwill at least twice before you got them. Colors should be muted. Mixed matched patterns, stains,
patches, frays, etc.
Possible costume choice: You all should NOT match!







Bloomers are being made for everyone.
dresses- about knee length or a little shorter
aprons/pinafores
blouses/skirts
old sweaters, cardigans- Although the show take place in December, try to keep layers light weight
so you won’t be too hot onstage!
knee socks or ankle socks
shoes- flats, mary janes, lace-up ankle boots, etc but NOT shinny. Must be able to dance in them!
Servants- You are the VERY professional staff of the Warbucks mansion! You look great and are proud of it.
Ladies:




black, short-sleeved, knee-length dresses that you can dance in.
black slip, spankies, or whatever you need to make sure your dress isn’t see-through under the stage
lights and while dancing
white aprons and headbands are being made for everyone
black shoes- low heel, flats, or character shoes. They must stay on while dancing! Ankle straps help.

Pedestrians in NYC: Isn’t New York THE place to be? You may live there or be a tourist, but you all agree! It’s
an evening in December, at Times Square.
Most pedestrians in this scene are servants in the previous scene, so your quick change will just involve
putting on hats, coats, scarves, mittens, etc over your existing costume.
