NOTE: We are not responsible for addresses entered incorrectly on your order

If re-shipping is required because of incorrectly entered addresses, the extra

About shipping and handling
U.S. shipping: We ship U.S. orders by First Class, Priority Mail, or
UPS Ground to a street address, for delivery within 4-8 business days of
your order. Orders to U.S. post office boxes, and to Hawaii and Alaska
addresses, are sent by First Class or Priority Mail.
APO/FPO shipping: APO and FPO addresses are considered U.S. addresses for purposes of shipping. However, orders to these addresses are
subject to international security regulations and may be slightly delayed
in the destination countries.
International shipping: International orders (including Canada and Mexico)
are shipped by Air Mail, for delivery within 7-14 business days of your order.

Returns: If any item in your order does not meet your expectations, return
the unused merchandise for exchange, credit, or refund. Send to Folkwear
Returns, P.O. Box 189, Barnardsville, NC 28709-0189, USA. We cannot credit
or refund original and return shipping charges.

Note that during very busy times, such as the end-of-year holiday season and
summer vacation season, international orders can be delayed in Customs by

Rush shipping: We are happy to ship orders to continental U.S. addresses
by UPS 2nd Day Air for an additional $16.00 charge. NOTE: UPS 2nd Day
Air is a “business day only” service. Guaranteed Saturday delivery is an extra
charge on top of the 2nd Day Air charge.
What’s included in handling?
Handling charges on top of actual postage costs cover the envelope or box
that protects your order, overhead costs of our warehouse such as lights and
heat, payroll costs for our warehouse staff, mileage to the post office, and time
spent standing in line to hand-deliver all parcels to postal staff according to
Federal security regulations.

Our copyrights
All Folkwear patterns have copyrights registered with the United States Library
of Congress. Purchasing a Folkwear pattern gives you the legal right to make
it for personal use only. It is a violation of those copyrights to use Folkwear
patterns to create garments that you then re-sell online, through craft outlets,
in stores, at fairs, events, auctions, or other sites. If you do custom sewing,
you may request that a client purchase his or her own copy of a Folkwear
pattern that you then make up; this would not be in violation.
If you wish to pursue a garment-making enterprise, we recommend that you
work with a dressmaker or designer to create your own original patterns, for
which you will have your own copyright protection.
