Ashley Mori – LMHC, CADC
Ashley Mori, LMHC (Licensed Mental Health
Counselor), IADC (International Alcohol and Drug
Counselor) is employed by Children & Families of
Iowa as the Clinical Manager of Outpatient
Mental Health and has more than six years of
experience in the mental health field. She
graduated from the University of Iowa with a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and from the
Chicago School of Professional Psychology with
a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a
Counseling Specialization.
Ashley’s clinical focus is on clients who struggle with substance abuse,
dependency, and complex trauma issues. She has experience working with
adolescents, families, and young women. Ashley utilizes cognitive
behavioral approaches such as reality-based therapy, solution-focused
techniques, and motivational interviewing in working with a variety of clients
on mood disorders, disorders diagnosed in childhood and adolescence,
and trauma spectrum disorders. Ashley has experience and background in
several theoretical orientations and utilizes the style that best fits her
client’s needs.
Ashley accepts Aetna, BCBS, Midland’s Choice, Medicaid, MH Net, UBH,
UW, and private pay clients.
