Crochet hook size G/6 (4.00 mm), or size needed to achieve gauge
Tapestry needle
Gauge: 16 sts & 12 rows = 4” in half double crochet on size G/6 (4.00 mm)

Special stitches:
Bobble: Work 4 dc in one stitch, drop last loop from hook, insert hook
through top two loops of first dc of 4-dc group, pull dropped loop through,
ch 1 to tighten, pushing bobble to front.
Reverse single crochet (rev sc): Work in single crochet from left to right,
instead of in the usual direction from right to left.
X-stitch (X-st): Skip next stitch, dc in next stitch, dc back into skipped
stitch (one X-st completed).
