A key requirement of the role will be to ensure the effective delivery of all Heating Servicing and that high service delivery promises to customers are maintained and continuously improved. OVERALL OBJECTIVES Job Summary To work within the Property Compliance Team to ensure properties are fit for purpose and fully compliant for all statutory requirements in relation to the Safety of Heating Systems. To carry out on-site inspections in relation to Gas Safety and supervise/audit the Gas Servicing Contractor. Main Duties To assist the Property Compliance Manager to plan, monitor and control property compliance work within agreed budgets to pre-defined quality standards and time limits. To supervise and inspect heating works to NPT Homes properties and provide advice to tenants on the safe and efficient use of heating systems and assist when required with the testing and inspection of the heating systems. To carry out documentation and record keeping as required ensuring compliance with Landlords responsibilities and duties in relation to Gas Safety and all other relative legislation. To liaise with other sections of NPT Homes and outside organisations to ensure all property compliance works and inspections are delivered effectively. 3 To supervise Contracts as may be required ensuring Contract Compliance, Quality and Financial Control. Ensure all works comply with CDM, Health and Safety at Work Act etc., NPT Homes Health and Safety Policy and all safe methods of work and risk assessments. Strive to achieve a continuous improvement in service provision, both in relation to the nature of the service and the manner in which it is delivered. Assist to create a culture which results in individuals and groups of people receiving services from NPT Homes which “exceed expectations”. Be familiar with and assist in establishing and maintaining effective IT and other management information systems. General Responsibilities 1. Probationary Period All new employees appointed to this post or employees who are promoted to a higher graded post will be subject to a six month probationary period. Business Travel You may at times use your own motor vehicle for use on official journeys for which you will be reimbursed for any expenditure necessarily incurred in order to do your job when working away from your normal place of work.
