ELITE ALL STAR CHEERLEADING
Be Part of the Elite Family
Originally opened in 2007 as Rocky Mountain Elite, Elite Cheerleading Services (ECS)
first training facility, now known as United Elite, was the first gym to fall under the
corporation’s umbrella.
From our first tryout in 2007 to now, Elite’s philosophy has remained true: to provide
state of the art cheerleading and tumbling training and facilities. We believe that we will
best serve our athletes by training them in an environment that safely promotes
athleticism and skill. Our goal for each of our athletes is to provide them with the tools
that will allow them to reach their full potential through a combination of practice,
repetition, and education in the sport of cheerleading.
While the past years have brought in numerous trophies, medals, banners and jackets, this
has not been the sole purpose of the instructors at Elite. Our primary goal has and forever
will be to teach athletes how to work together to be successful, not only inside of the gym
but outside of it as well. Although the bids to Worlds, bids to Summit and the countless
National Championships have solidified our ranks among the best in the industry, it’s the
journey of our athletes once they have left our facilities that give us the most pride.
Countless college programs throughout the US have benefitted from the hard work of our
athletes. So too have summer camps as many of our former students have gone on to
share their newly gained expertise as instructors throughout the country with various
other cheerleading companies.

What is All Star Cheerleading?
All Star cheerleading is a competitive team sport incorporating skills from several other
disciplines including gymnastics, dance, acrobatics, and of course, cheer. All Star
cheerleading squads do not cheer for other sports teams; they are the team! All Star teams
train year round for competitions. They also differ from most other sports in that every
member is vital to the team and the performance; there are no benchwarmers. Each
member of the squad is trained in all aspects of the sport in order to develop their skills to
reach their maximum potential.
All Star teams are typically comprised of anywhere
from 5-36 athletes with a variety of skills and
abilities, much like a football or basketball team.
There can be solid, well-rounded athletes and those
who have particularly strong abilities in certain areas
(i.e. strong dancers or jumpers). The coaches create a
competition routine with elements of tumbling,
stunting, jumping, dance and other skills set to music.
The routines are typically two and half minutes in
length. At competitions the teams are divided by age
and ability level. The routines are judged on the level
of difficulty, precision, creativity and entertainment
value.
There are thousands of All Star programs of all
types across the country. While not every
program is a perfect fit for every athlete, the
Elite family believes it provides a well-rounded
program that will fit the needs of athletes
ranging from the beginning level to the most
elite. Regardless of what program you choose,
All Star cheerleading is a great way for athletes
to learn new skills while also building teamwork
skills, goal setting, social skills, and
sportsmanship.
Tryouts
Following the final day of tryouts, Elite staff will meet to evaluate each athlete’s tryout to
place them on appropriate practice groups. Practice groups will be announced on April
26th. Practice groups are made up of athletes consisting of the same age and skill level.
These groups are designed to give athletes the chance to work with other athletes to
demonstrate skills that are not evaluated at tryouts such as stunting, teamwork, and
attitude. Groups will work together for the reminder of the month of May and placements
will be announced in June.
This year we will be offering tryout videos (on our website, www.cheerelite.net) for each
level. These videos will be available in the beginning of April 2015, and demonstrate the
skills required for each level as well as the dance that the athletes will need to perform at
tryouts.
While we anticipate having a similar number of teams and divisions for this upcoming
season, we cannot determine that until after the tryouts are completed. If an athlete
wishes to be a flyer they will need to demonstrate overall flexibility during tryouts.
All athletes who attend the tryout will be placed in a practice group and then will be
placed on a specific team.

Program Costs
Competitive cheerleading, while not as costly as some youth activities, can still be an
expensive sport. Entry fees for competitions alone are hundreds of dollars a year per
athlete. Before you consider this or any program, please carefully consider the financial
commitment involved. Elite has one of the finest staffs and facilities in the state of
Colorado. Our fees are comparable to other programs, but if you factor in the costs of
entry fees, booster club, and other expenses that are often paid for separately at other
gyms, you may actually spend less per year at Elite than at some other local programs.
Other programs may advertise a lower “tuition” rate only to have you pay a significant
amount extra throughout the year to the gym and/or booster club. Elite is always up front
with our costs.
We have an “inclusive” pricing matrix that covers the majority of the expenses that an
athlete would normally incur throughout the year. This price includes: tuition, entry fees
to all local competitions, gym sponsored team activities, and other numerous expenses.
This pricing matrix allows for easier financial planning through the year for our
customers. One item not included in this matrix is travel expenses. The large majority of
competitions that we attend are held in the Denver Metro area, which helps to keep
overnight stays and other travel costs to a minimum. Elite also offers Auto Pay, which
allows families to use a credit card or check card to pay for tuition without having to
make payments in person. You will know exactly how much and when you will be
charged. If a specific team competition schedule changes drastically regarding the
number of events attended, we will give a partial refund or ask for additional funds to
cover the difference in expenses.
Average Tuition Rates
Mini Team: $125/month
Youth, Junior, Senior Teams: $175/month
Items NOT included in the pricing matrix. Athletes may already have some of theses
items. Please be aware that the costs listed are ESTIMATES.

Elite can offer what no other gym can – consistency! On a daily basis, our world class
staff spends their time reviewing rules, videos, skills progression, and countless other
methods with one simple thought process: how we can be better?
Our coaches have a variety of backgrounds. Many have spent years prior to coming to
Elite as high school and/or college instructors. With an abundance of national as well as
international exposure, both instructing as well as coaching, our staff is constantly in
demand for their unique input as well as their style of instruction. The leadership team
that oversees Colorado Elite, as well as it’s four other sister gyms, are consistently in
