The holidays are here and we are busy planning our new year. It’s hard to believe we
have been open for business 6 months. We want to thank you for your business,
friendship, and encouragement. You are vital to our success, we value your business .
Here I am pictured with
the president of the company Martin Favre.
First trip to Chicago, included business training, and a trip to Aurora, IL, the
USA home to BERNINA. I found the staff excited about what they do, using
their creative skills and expertise to inspire, educate, and encourage in all
areas of creating BERNINA style. It’s our desire to bring the same excitement to our shop in machine education, classes, and events.
Mark had his work to do too. He spent 5 intense days of hands on training to
receive his Certification in BERNINA machine servicing . He loves the work
and cares for your machine with great respect. Mark is competent to service
all machine brands. If you have questions, come by or give us a call .
Second trip to Chicago, Connie Spanner, Tiana McGowan, and I attended
BERNINA’s Software Extravaganza, where we enjoyed 4 intense days of
V6 software training. We were amazed at what could be done with this
powerful software. We would like to bring you the training we received, so
you can digitize artwork, create customized designs, and much more.
Our first months have been filled with Beginning and Intermediate Quilting classes, taught by Charylene Peterson,
Beginning Knitting and Sock Knitting classes taught by Sharon Mata, My Label Software qualifying class led by
Nancy Cheadle, Floral Visions software and block designing led by Connie Spanner, and a Mystery Night. We have
also enjoyed hosting some friendship groups.
A group of ladies came to our Mystery Night, where they made a wall hanging or small lap size quilt. Together with a
fun night of sewing, we treated them to a dinner of Hawaiian Style Meatballs, steamed rice, and fresh garden salad.
After dinner, they enjoyed a little wine and chocolate to keep them sewing for hours. I’m looking forward to doing this
monthly with enough sign ups. Get your name on the list and we will contact you with dates and times.
