About
Chlöe Van Stralendorff studied in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and received her BFA in Curatorial Studies from Moore College of Art & Design in
2013. Her most practiced mediums include appropriated imagery, works on paper, and collaboration
projects that explore areas of various social environments.
Currently, she is an MLIS student at San Jose
State University. She works at the LACMA (Los
Angeles County Museum of Art) as an Archive Intern in the Photo Services Department and a Library Page at an Orange County Public Library.

This Monoprint and Chine Colle series explores
fractals. Using the theory of fractals, I created a
contrast between people and environments.
Described as a process in time fractals are not
limited to geometric patterns. I use both geometric patterns and the appropriation of images that
embody the contrast of time.
