March 30th designated as a Flexible Attendance Day
The Cullman City Board of Education has approved a recommendation by Superintendent Dr. Doreen
Griffeth, to allow students to the inclement weather make-up day scheduled for Monday March 30 with a
Flexible Learning Day. This will allow students to obtain attendance credit by completing outside school
assignments. Students will document six hours of school work outside of the normal school day instead of
attending school on Monday, March 30, 2015. Each teacher will provide and supervise the completion of a
fifty minute classroom assignment to be completed before Friday, March 27th. Completion of the
assignments will serve as proof of attendance on Monday, March 30th. We look forward to helping students
successfully participate in this unique learning opportunity. Students will be notified of their specific
assignments by each CHS teacher on Friday, March 20th and these assignments will be posted on the CHS/CCS
web-sites.
