Final Exam Exemption Policy Our final exam exemption policy for this school year is posted on our website. It can be viewed by clicking here. Spring Exam Schedule Due to the inclement weather days, the final exam schedule for the spring semester had to be adjusted. Please click here for the new schedule. Students of the Month The Students of the Month for May are: Jasmine Jones and Landon Barton. These students were nominated by the faculty for showing great Tiger PRIDE during the school day. Congratulations to both of these great young Tigers! Counselor’s Corner Students will receive their final schedule on the first day of school. Checking Grades and Test Scores Parents can still sign up to use Parent Access. This program allows parents to view grades, state test results, attendance, and much more. Parents can also access the state portal to check test scores using the link at the bottom of their home screen. Sometimes, scores are updated in the state portal before they are available by CHS! This portal also keeps a cumulative record of all your student's STAAR EOC scores. Attendance Incentive! Gullo Ford/Toyota is graciously donating a car valued at $20,000 to CHS to incentivize good attendance. Here are the details: Contest will run now - May 22 Drawing will be held next week! ** Open to all students, grades 9-12 **Winning student’s family will be responsible for tax, title, and fees. **Winning student's family must be willing to participate in advertising **For each week a student has perfect attendance, their name will be added to the prize drawing. (This means a student could potentially have their name in the drawing 19 times) **Winning student must be currently enrolled in school **Winning student must have been in attendance in all classes on campus a minimum of days to be determined in the spring semester. Fees and Fines Remember to check your fees and fine using our online system located on the website. Just go to the CHS website, click on "enter the site", scroll down, and you will see directions on how to check your fees and fines. AP Test Results Information AP tests will be taken during the first 2 weeks of May. You can only access your results online this summer. Click here for more information. CHS does not maintain AP test results and we are not able to mail home AP test results. Those come from College Board using the link below. To access your results you must keep your AP number found in your AP student pack. Good luck to all students!! From the Clinic Conroe Connection The City of Conroe is now providing the Conroe Connection, a public, fixed-route bus service. This bus service features two routes with stops convenient to many local shopping, dining and medical facilities. To celebrate the new service, individuals may ride free for the month of February. There will also be a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Booker T. Washington Park. Summer School Per CISD Policy, "All medication is to be picked up in the clinic by a parent or a designated adult at the end of the school year. No medication will be kept over the summer months. Please make arrangements with your campus clinic staff regarding pick-up of medications." For information regarding 2015 summer school, please click here.
