2015 WEEKDAY SLOWPITCH LEAGUE REQUIREMENTS
Dear Manager:
Men’s and Coed Leagues
Enclosed are the 2015 softball requirements, roster, liability, and registration forms. Registration goes now through
April 22, 2015. If you mail or put your registration in the drop box, we will not process it until the end of the
day. Leagues are limited. Any team fee received after April 22nd is not guaranteed a place in the league and a
$15 late fee will be charged. If your sponsor pays team fees and player fees but doesn’t want to write two checks
you may turn in a roster form, completely filled out, with your registration. Your waiver form, when turned in, must
match your roster. You may play on more than one team in different leagues. You still have to pay for all player and
capital improvement fees for both teams. Paying fees for one team does not cover them for the second team. The
roster, liability form, resident/non-resident and capital improvement fees are due no later than Monday, April
27, 2015. There will be a $15 late fee for any player or capital improvement fees paid after April 27th – NO
EXCEPTIONS. Teams that do not turn in rosters and liability forms by April 27, 2015 may be dropped from the
league. We will have someone at the April 27th managers meeting to collect player and capital improvement fees.
Any team that pays any part of their fees at the field will incur a $25 field fee. A team will forfeit their first game if
any team, player, capital improvement, or NSF fees have not been paid by the first game. There will be a forfeit fee
of $25 that will have to be paid before the team is allowed to play again. Forfeited games also may exclude the team
from the tournament. The season will begin the week of May 11, 2015.

Requirements
Entry fee of $250.00 for 10 games or $500.00 for 20 games: due 4-22
Completed waiver form (players must sign the waiver): due 4-27
The completed roster (minimum of 12 players): due 4-27
A $225.00 set player fee per team which covers 12 players on your roster: due 4-27
A $5.00 per player Capital Improvement Fee ($60 for 12 players): due 4-27
For teams with over 12 players there will be an additional $25 per player fee (this includes the $5 capital
improvement fee): due 4-27
The managers meeting for the Coed League will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 at 6:00pm and the managers
meeting for the Tuesday and Wednesday Men’s Leagues will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 at 6:30pm.
Your envelope will not be accepted if it does not contain the appropriate fees or is not legible. The team
manager must ensure the roster is completely filled out with sufficient information for the office to determine the
residency of the players and the fee paid is correct and the application is turned in before the deadline. Insufficient or
erroneous address or fee payment or late applications will be cause for your application and team to be refused.
AGE LIMIT
The City slow pitch league was formed as an adult recreation league. The acceptance of players under 18 years of age
will be limited to two (2) on any roster. No one under the age of sixteen (16) may be on the roster or participate in the
adult softball league. A parent must sign the liability form for a minor under 18.
ROSTER
Your roster must have a minimum of twelve (12) players, properly signed up, before we will accept your registration.
After May 15, 2015 no refunds will be given to players dropped from the team. After June 12, 2015 players cannot be
added to your roster.
TROPHY
At the end of the season, the first and second place team in each league will be awarded a team trophy. In addition to
the team trophy, the first place team will receive individual awards.
TOURNAMENT
There will be a single-elimination tournament at the end of the year. Each tournament will be league specific, no
mixing of leagues. Tournament seeding will be taken from the final standings of the regular season.

MANAGER’S MEETINGS
There will be mandatory managers’ meetings to be held April 27th for Men’s and Coed Leagues. I will notify you of
the exact dates and/or times when they are determined.
LEAGUE SET-UP
There will be no designated Men’s Competitive League but each league will have different home run limits. Tuesday
night will have a home run limit of three more than the other team with additional home runs considered a foul
ball. A home run with two strikes will be considered a foul out. The Wednesday night league will be allowed
two then 1 more than the other team with additional home runs being fouls. If there are fewer than five (5) teams
signed up for a league, teams will be asked to merge with another league if room exists. Limit on home runs may
change if ALL managers for that league agree with the proposed change.
