McIntosh High School Orchestra 2012‐2013 Concert Attire Students must wear the required outfit for concerts and performance evaluations. Purchase directly from Formal Fashions, Inc. www.formalfashionsinc.com or 1‐800‐528‐7909. Allow 4‐6 weeks for delivery. Skirts/Pants arrive unhemmed. Our first concert is November 6. Order early for the best size selection! Ladies: Black stretch velvet blouse #978D5VA. Black “Performance Knit” skirt #504FAA or Black “Performance Knit” palazzo pants #516AA. Black closed‐toe dress shoes: flats or low heels. Long Hair: please pull back away from the face or wear up Gentlemen: Traditional black tuxedo with black cummerbund, black bow tie and white tux shirt. Black formal shoes (no sneakers), black socks! Please consider joining the MHS Symphony Orchestra Club. This performing ensemble provides interested students an opportunity to participate in a full orchestra. Students will read and perform standard symphonic literature from early Baroque to present‐day masterworks. The club meets on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30. Our first meeting will be Wed. Aug. 22. Dues are $25 for the year. Please make this check payable to McIntosh High School Symphony Orchestra Club. Due Aug. 31. Fayette Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (formerly Fayette County Youth Orchestra [FCYO]) Their first meeting will be Monday, Aug. 27 at 4:00 Flat Creek Baptist Church for interested students.
