Dorota Suchocka
Born in Poland, DorotaSuchocka graduated from the
prestigious Warsaw Conservatory of Music, with a
Masters in Piano Performance and Music Education.
She taught piano in a fine and performing arts high
school, and at the same time prepared education
concerts for her hometown philharmonicc orchestra.
Her students in Poland won high honors in major
competitions. Upon moving to the United States, she
became a music teacher. Students under her direction
performed at the All-City
City Music Festivals and
performed during Pat Quinn’s Inauguration in
Springfield, IL. Dorota introduced programs into her
school such as the Percussion Scholarship Group of the
Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Joffrey Ballet Middle School Dance Program, Little
Kids Rock, and Free Peoples Concerts.
After teaching at school, Dorota enjoys practicing to upkeep her technique and gives
private lessons.
