COLLÈGE LORETTE COLLEGIATE JUNE 2015 FINAL EXAMINATION SCHEDULE GENERAL INFORMATION All examinations are final examinations. All exams count for 30% of the final grade, unless they are provincial exams, in which case their value will be stated in class. Attendance at all exams is compulsory. Exemptions for examinations may be granted by the Principal based on extenuating circumstances. Review classes will be held prior to the beginning of examinations. All examinations will be held in the Gymnasium, unless otherwise stated. Students from Grade 9 to 11 will have two and one-half (2 1\2) hours to write an examination. Students in Grade 12 will have three (3) hours to write an examination. All students must remain in the examination room for a minimum of one and one-half (1 ½ ) hour. When students are not writing exams, they are asked to remain quiet while in the school, and be respectful of other students writing exams. For Grade 9 students: in the afternoon of the exam week, Grade 9 students are asked to report to one of the Grade 9 classroom for study hall, unless the student is leaving to go home to study. If a student has a conflict, the student is to re-schedule the exam with the individual subject teacher. EXAMINATION RULES Any students caught cheating will automatically receive a score of 0% on that examination. All examinations begin at 9:00 a.m. in the morning, and 12:30 p.m. in the afternoon. If an exam is missed for any excuse, other than medical or prior approval from the principal, the student will receive a mark of 0%. Smart phones, cell phones, IPODs, or other portable audio/video devices will not be allowed in the examination room. There will no talking in the examination room. All materials are to be left outside of the examination room. Only pens, pencils, approved calculators, and any other material required by the teacher will be allowed in the examination room. There will be no exiting the examination room prior to the minimum time requirement. Once a student has left, there will be no returning to the examination room. Please ensure that washroom breaks take place before the commencement of the examination.
