HELP WANTED
Position: Journeyman Maintenance Wireman position in Newport/South Beach,
Oregon. This is a Union position.
Company: Central Lincoln Peoples’ Utility District (Newport, Oregon) is a progressive
publicly-owned utility on the central Oregon coast.
Requirements: A Journeyman Maintenance Wireman must have a minimum of three
(3) years’ experience in electric utility substations and must qualify under I.B.E.W. as a
Journeyman Maintenance Wireman. The Wireman shall demonstrate proficiency at
installing, troubleshooting, repairing, dismantling, adjusting, and replacing equipment
used in the operation of an electric utility transmission and distribution system. Wireman
shall also demonstrate proficiency at reading and understanding drawings and technical
material related to maintenance of utility equipment. Applicant must possess an Oregon
Commercial Driver’s License Class A.
Salary: Effective April 1, 2015: $45.22/hour. Central Lincoln has an excellent benefits
