This is an opportunity for family, friends, and the community to honor the young men and women who are entering military service from our local high schools here in Clark County. The event is sponsored by MacKay Sposito. Northwest Indian Veteran’s Association “Chief Redheart Ceremony – April 25th 10:00 AM to Noon at the Great Meadows (Corner of 5th Street and Reserve Street). A Traditional Native American Dinner will be served at the Artillery Barracks from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Each year Nez Perce tribal members travel to sites to conduct traditional memorials to honor their ancestors. The public is encouraged to attend. No admission charge but donations are welcomed.
