Join us on a tour of urban agriculture facilities in and around Vancouver. The day will start with a tour of City Farmer’s demostration organic garden featuring many types of composting bins, an organic food garden, a water-wise garden, a natural lawn, a bug friendly garden, a green roof and a climate-change garden. It is located at 2150 Maple Street in Vancouver and is described by Lonely Planet as an ‘urban oasis among the backstreets of Kitsilano’. Take part in a worm composting workshop and learn how to set up and maintain your own worm composter.
