We also offer Bursaries and Awards, and our Creative Careers programme provides previously unemployed young people with a fast track opportunity to a craft career. We raise standards in the contemporary craft and design sectors Our annual research demonstrates that performance of our designermaker businesses has improved year on year since our incubation model was introduced in 2005. Cockpit Arts is a certified social enterprise and has been awarded the Social Enterprise Mark as well as Customer First, the national standard for customer service. 2 Support Cockpit Arts Cockpit Arts is a social enterprise and a registered charity. We do not receive regular Government funding and are largely self-funding. Funds raised are invested back into our social remit to support and promote independent designer-maker businesses. With any donation, you will receive complimentary tickets to our twice yearly Open Studios events and our Supporters e-newsletter.
