The weather is finally warming up and we can begin to think about our spring knitting projects. We are off to a good start with all of the wonderful, colorful yarn we purchased last month from Blue Heron Yarns. Be sure to bring your finished items to share with your fellow members. Our April meeting should be most enlightening, enlightening as Gail Zucker shows us how to take better photos of all the beautiful items we are constantly knitting. What better way to keep a record of all our knitting projects than through the use of beautiful photographs that we can make and be proud of. Perhaps we can create a Westchester Knitting Guild Album! We continue to receive the charity items that you have knitted, more from Dorothy on that, but in the meantime a heart felt thank you to all of you who participated. Happy Knitting, J. Evelyne Liebmann AFGHANS FOR AFGHANS UPDATE At our February Guild meeting we collected 24 pairs of mittens, 13 hats, 16 pairs of socks and one sweater. At the March meeting we collected 12 pairs of mittens, three hats and six pairs of socks. Nine members have yet to hand in their promised items and, as I always say, “it’s never too late”. If you are having difficulty completing your project for whatever reason, just bring the yarn back to the next meeting. We’ll finish it and I know you will donate in the future. I need d to wrap this h up so we can get them h to Afghanistan f h on time. I sincerely l thank each and every one of you for participating and making this so successful.
