Proceeds from the Auction
As Rogers Foundation’s premier fundraising event, the Gala provides funds for annual initiatives. Your gifts
tonight help support our mission in many important ways:




Patient Care Grants provide free treatment to patients in need.
Spiritual Care is funded 100% by the Foundation and provides access to group and individual sessions with
our chaplains as part of the treatment process.
The Angel Fund provides families in need with gas cards, accommodations, books, games, holiday gifts and
parties, and more.
Program & Staff Development, Advanced Technology and Specialized Equipment provide the treatment
team with additional tools to help patients through the recovery process.
As you support our mission at the Gala, please remember that 100% of your gift supports the patients and
programs at Rogers. Your gift saves lives!
Placing a Bid in the Silent/Super Silent/Exclusive Auctions
Silent Auction—Open for bidding from 5:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.
Super Silent Auction—Contains higher value items. Open for bidding from 5:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
Exclusive Auction—Two items will be available for bidding until the program concludes at 9:00 p.m. They are:
Custom Suit Experience and Limited Edition Bronze Sculpture.
The opening bid is indicated on your electronic bidding device—either BidPal or your smart phone. All bidding will
take place on your device, and it will notify you if you’ve been outbid. This allows you the opportunity to place a
new bid right at your fingertips. Please note that some items have a “Buy Now” price.
Check-Out and Payment
Check-out begins at 9:00 p.m.—Cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover) will
be accepted. Be sure to swipe your credit card at check-in for faster check-out!
Winning bidders must pay in full—All items must be taken home the evening of the benefit unless special
arrangements are made with one of the Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation staff.
All sales are final—There are no exchanges or refunds.
Some items have specified dates or time limitations indicated—Unless otherwise noted, all items must be used by
November 2, 2014.
Reservations for trips, golf, stays at hotels, etc.—Must be made by the winner and mutually arranged with the
donor, unless otherwise specified.
