MAYOR RANDY HENDERSON TO VISIT SAN CARLOS PARK
ELEMENTARY
Fourth graders at San Carlos Park Elementary Center for the Arts were asked to work
on a Social Studies “Scavenger Hunt” project throughout the second and third quarters.
During this time, they were sent all over the city and state searching for and collecting
artifacts about the State of Florida. Students went above and beyond this year and
contacted City of Fort Myers Mayor Randy Henderson to come for a visit. He
graciously accepted and will be visiting the school on Friday, April 24th, at 10:30 a.m.
Mayor Henderson is thrilled to teach students all about his job, what it is like to be the
mayor and things that are happening around our city; while students and staff are excited
for the opportunity to learn from Mayor Henderson. San Carlos Park Elementary Center
for the Arts is located at 17282 Lee Road, Fort Myers.
