GUIDELINES FOR RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP Owning a pet is a privilege and should result in a mutually beneficial and enjoyable relationship for both owner and pet. However, the benefits of pet ownership come with obligations, including adhering to local ordinances and community guidelines related to pets. These requirements are in place to ensure the safety of all residents and pets within our community. Pet owners are fully responsible and liable for the conduct and actions of their pets at all times. As such, it is each pet owner’s responsibility to ensure their pet does not negatively impact other people or animals. Within our housing community, if pet regulations are not followed and responsible pet ownership is not demonstrated, a Letter of Caution will be issued and the privilege of keeping a pet in your home may be revoked. Balfour Beatty Communities would like to remind residents that responsible pet ownership includes: Ensuring pets are properly leashed or penned at all times Preventing pets from disturbing other residents and the general environment with excessive noise and barking Properly disposing of all pet waste Ensuring pets do not interfere with or obstruct the outdoor activities of other residents, including walking jogging, biking, etc. Ensuring pets are well-socialized and do not pose a threat of attack or biting for other residents or animals We greatly appreciate the efforts of the many responsible pet owners here in our community and we look forward to your continued cooperation in keeping the housing areas safe and enjoyable for all residents. If anyone has questions about pet requirements or would like to report any related violations, please contact the Balfour Beatty Communities leasing office at 734-1445. HOME BUSINESS REMINDER! We encourage all home business opportunities, however there are guidelines to the terms and type of home businesses. Please contact the Leasing Office for information, guidelines and appropriate documentation needed to conduct your at home business.
