Once I loved every minute of Christmas,
from buying presents to squashing
that huge turkey in the oven. But since
Parkinson’s invaded my life everything is
a struggle. It’s hard not to be sad about
how good Christmas used to be.
All over the UK families like mine
face Christmas with Parkinson’s. We
desperately need a cure. To me it would
be the best gift ever, as I could give my
grandchildren a wonderful Christmas
at last.

will help the fight against Parkinson’s, so

Postage
Orders are despatched as standard on a
three to five working day service, but please allow
seven working days for delivery. We can despatch
orders for next day delivery. Standard delivery
charge: £3.95, next day delivery: £5.95.
If you require non-UK mainland delivery, please
email [email protected] and we will give
you a quote for the delivery charge before you
proceed with the order. Please do this before you
place your order. With regret, we cannot deliver to
PO Box numbers.
Last date to place your order in time
for Christmas
We would always advise you to place your orders
as soon as possible. However, for your order to
be delivered in time for Christmas, the last date
to place your order is 18 December 2013 for
standard delivery and 23 December for next
day delivery. For hamper deliveries, the date is
2 December 2013.
Terms and conditions
All orders are accepted by us on the understanding
that the terms and conditions have been
understood and accepted by you. Please make
sure all addresses are accurate and include the
postal town and postcode, together with the
recipient’s telephone number. We will not be
responsible for late or non-delivery where delivery
address is missing or inaccurate.
Our liability, in any circumstances and whatever
the consequences, relating to any parcel ordered
is limited to the invoice value of the parcel itself.
No responsibility can be placed on Parkinson’s UK
Sales Limited due to the consequences of floods,
strikes, labour disputes, riots or civil disturbances.
Please note that delivery of goods is subject
to availability, so please order early to avoid
disappointment. We replenish stock wherever
possible, but if we are unable to fulfil your order
a member of our customer services team will
contact you to ask whether you would prefer
a refund or a replacement item.
Hamper terms and conditions
Hampers will be sent from the supplier, therefore
please allow 14 days for their delivery. We regret
that these cannot be delivered on a next day service.
Hampers cannot be supplied to persons under the
age of 18 if they contain alcohol. Each address
due to receive a hamper will receive a postcard
informing them of when their delivery is due.
Please quote the number on the card when making
any enquires regarding the order of your hamper.
Any claims for damages or shortages must be
received by Parkinson’s UK Sales Limited no later
than seven days after the delivery of hampers.
Goods must be retained for inspection. Claims for
damage or shortage can only be honoured if the
carrier sheet has been signed.
Our carriers keep delivery records for a limited
amount of time therefore we cannot provide proof
of delivery facilities or accept responsibility for
asserted non-delivery after three months from
the receipt of order. In the unlikely event of no
availability, substitution may be made to either the
content or the whole hamper with goods of equal
quality and value.
VAT relief
Certain items in the ‘Everyday Living Aids’
catalogue are eligible for VAT relief for those who
are chronically sick or disabled. Where this applies,
the lower VAT exempt price is shown in brackets
and can be claimed on your order if the declaration
form is signed and the disability is stated. For
VAT relief on telephone orders, we require your
National Insurance No.
