FREDRIC H. WEISBERG
(1942-1994)
Fredric was the Managing Partner of Connecticut-based law firm, Cummings &
Lockwood. A Stamford native and son of
a local judge, Weisberg became a central
figure in the region’s legal community.
He served as President of The Fairfield
County Bar Association (1989-1990), and
was a strong supporter of Connecticut Legal Services, Inc. (the beneficiary of this
race), contributing the full-time assistance
of C&L associates to the Stamford offices.
He also dedicated a percentage of the
firm’s work to pro bono activity. An avid
jogger, Weisberg was a frequent participant in the Law Day Road Race. Following his untimely death from cancer at age
52, The Fairfield County Bar Association
re-named the race in Fred Weisberg’s
memory to honor his commitment to this
organization, and his spirit of making justice accessible to everyone.

rights and claims for damages I may have against any and all race sponsors, or the cities or towns
in which the race is contested, their representatives, successors, and assigns for any and all injuries
suffered by me in said event. I attest and verify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained
for the completion of this event and my physical condition has been verified by a licensed medical
