Join us at the new Spring !
Knitting and Stitching Show
The Spring Knitting and Stitching
Show is a brand new exhibition
celebrating crafts of all kinds.
Come to shop, come to learn,
come to be inspired. We want to
develop your love of crafts!
What used to be the Stitch &
Craft Show has evolved into a
fresh, new show with an emphasis
on subjects such as dressmaking,
interiors and upcycling.
But the old favourites are also
represented. Cross stitchers will
find all the regular suppliers and
we welcome back Jane Greenoff
of the Cross Stitch Guild who
offers daily workshops.
If you’re a knitter, make sure you
enter our Knitted Spring Garden
competition (see twistedthread.
com). Indulge yourself amongst
a range of knitting boutiques
offering luxurious hand dyed
yarns, knitting patterns for
babies and contemporary ideas
for your home. And for quilters
we present a display of traditional
patchwork quilts as well as an
array of fabulous quilt fabrics
and products.
Whatever your craft passion, you’ll
find it at the Spring Knitting and
Stitching Show.
The show motto is ‘Make It
Yourself’ and we’ll provide the
means, the tools and the tuition
to help you do so! With literally
hundreds of workshops and
drop-in sessions to choose
from, The Spring Knitting and
Stitching Show provides you with
the opportunity to tap into your
creative side and learn a new skill.
If you’re already a craft enthusiast,
you’ll love the show. But if you’ve
been tempted to get creative
and have never had the courage,
even better! Our aim is the get
the whole country ‘making’ and
that includes you, your friend from
school, your mum, even your 5
year old son or daughter!
A WOODLAND BOUDOIR
There’s No Place
Like Home…
The interiors showcase
Take a seat in the comfy living
areas and find Inspiration for your
home, demonstrations and great
project ideas.
The Spring show offers the same
winning formula of displays,
workshops and great shopping
as our established Knitting and
Stitching Show at Alexandra
Palace. But we hope to encourage
newcomers as well as converted
stitchers, so please help us spread
the word and encourage the UK
to develop a love of crafts!
Gift ideas, soft
furnishings for
your home, even the
skills to make your
own clothes. For the
price of a ticket
you’ll save £££ by
learning how to
Make It Yourself!
The Woodland Boudoir combines
the talent of a number of textile
artists in a bedroom designed
to celebrate the sexuality of the
mature woman. Each item in the
bedroom (including a four poster
bed, a mirror, and a woven birch
and willow tree) has been created
with the fairy tale in mind…. And in
fairy tales the woods represented
female sexuality…
DECOPATCH
Learn this amazing craft to give
new life to any household object.
We’ll be showcasing many pieces
of Decopatched furniture to show
you the potential of this simple but
effective craft. Simple enough for
children but addictive and great fun,
Decopatch is a great way to revive
a tired object.
LIBERTY LIFESTYLE FABRICS
Get those creative juices flowing
in a fabulous Liberty setting to
really inspire you.
Liberty is represented by a
number of exhibitors at the event
- the new Lifestyle range and
other Liberty prints are available
