information that is extremely important to students.
I understand my NWACC email account is the official form of communica on. I must monitor this account regularly for important Financial Aid informa on. I understand that the Financial Aid Office will offer students the op on to receive text messages for student specific important informa on. The text messages do not replace email but offer an alert to an important email or ac on item. I have read and understand the 2015‐2016 Sa sfactory Academic Progress Policy I understand that I must provide an official transcript from all previously a ended college. My financial aid will not be processed un l all transcripts have been received and evaluated. I understand that I must begin a ending and/or par cipa ng in my classes on the first day of class. If I fail to do so, it will impact my ability to receive federal funds for the semester. I understand that I must be enrolled in 6 credit hours to receive a federal loan. I understand loans are always disbursed in two disbursements. Normally, one in the fall and one in the Spring. If I have a one semester loan such as Spring only or Summer only loan, the loan will be credited to my account in two disbursements. The first half a er I am a ending 6 hrs and the drop period is over and the second half a er the midpoint of the semester. I understand that there is a 30 calendar day delay in the disbursement for first me freshman student loan borrow‐
ers. I understand and acknowledge that NWACC does not issue credit balance checks prior to the start of the semester I understand that if I enroll in a class shorter than 16 weeks, it may delay all or a por on of my disbursement and my refund. _______________________________________
