Open Air Painting
Competition
Starts Saturday 2nd May at
10am at the Sculpture Gardens
Admission Desk, Odney Club
A wonderful opportunity to capture your
own unique view of Cookham in the
medium of your choice. The competition
is open to all the family, with prizes
awarded in adult, junior (11-18) and child
(under 10) categories.
Registration fee £5 Adults, £2 Juniors,
under 10s FREE - payable at the Sculpture
Gardens admission desk Sat 2nd - Mon

The Pied Pipers
of Cookham
Tuesday 12 May, 10.45am at
the Methodist Church
For babies and their grown-ups, local
mums and musicians Julia Bentley
Dawkes and Victoria Dawkes will be
performing a varied and light hearted
programme of music for 2 flutes and
piano. Enjoy your child responding and
reacting to the beautiful music created by
the Pied Pipers.

Shakespeare

A special matinee performance for those
who would like to go as a family to see
the people of Cookham perform one of
Shakespeare’s funniest plays - The Merry
Wives of Windsor.

Platt Senior School
The four Cookham Primary Schools with
be joining forces to perform Michael
Hurd’s ever popular Jonah-Man Jazz –
packed with memorable catchy tunes
with jazz, blues and rock ‘n’ roll rhythms.

STORYTELLING
Tales for Children
Saturday 9th May, 10am - Noon at
Pizza Dreams Café, Cookham
Drop in any time and stay as long
as you wish to listen to local master
storyteller David England’s stories for
