Choosing a bed is a very personal decision, one not to be
undertaken lightly. When you consider that one third of your
life will be spent in bed, it only makes sense to spend that time
in Royal Comfort.
HYPNOS is a family run company that has been producing
handmade beds for over four generations. Peter Keen,
Chairman and great grandson of the original founder, still uses
the traditional methods of handcrafting that HYPNOS has
built its reputation on since their very first day of existence.
Craftsmen, many of whom have worked at HYPNOS since their
apprenticeship, produce each bed using the skills that have
been handed down through the generations.
HYPNOS’ philosophy of quality, comfort and uncompromising
attention to detail has awarded the company two Royal
Warrants. To be a Warrant Holder, you must first supply the
Royal Household with unrivalled quality, faultless products
or services for five consecutive years. The Lord Chamberlain
(head of the Royal household) advises the grantors on the
granting of Royal Warrants, the final decision rests with the
grantor, which is currently Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Thereafter the product is tested every year and the Warrant is
reviewed every five years.
To this day, only the finest quality products are associated with
the Royal Warrants. Other Royal Warrant Holders include: Rolls
Royce, Bentley & Jaguar Motorcars, Royal Doulton and Steinway
& Sons. HYPNOS has carried the Royal Warrants of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II and The Late Queen Mother for over 37 years.
