Being pure of heart is a
very difficult thing. The
truth of a matter is often hidden from us because of the influences
that have shaped our opinions about life.
Indeed, these influences shape how we
interpret scripture. Instead of looking at
God’s word and praying for understanding and a willingness to follow it no matter
what, we tend to look for loopholes to allow
us to do our will.
Oh how imperfect we are and how much it
shows to us our need of, not just a Savior,
but a Lord to guide us through life. Purify
us Lord that we may see and express the
truth to a world in desperate need of it.

I have always been interested in Joan
of Arc. A few months ago I began reading about her and my admiration not only
grew, but I became obsessed with the idea
of fighting for something worthy. I then remembered the Armor of God and how we
as Christians are called to fight against
the devil on a daily basis. I designed these
pieces to remind myself of the constant
battle against Satan and his army. You can
wear these charms individually on a chain
