The Australian World Orchestra (AWO) brings together Australia’s finest classical
musicians to form one of the country’s most electrifying orchestras. We are excited
to showcase 5 stellar musicians from home and abroad in an eclectic programme
featuring a string quartet and a virtuoso bassoonist.
Swoon to the music of Vivaldi and then swing from Marsalis’ jazz inspired piece
to the fantasy of Australian composer Matt Hindson’s piece as brilliant musicians
take you on a musical journey to a world of sound you never knew existed.
Join us for either Friday night’s concert in the centre of town at Geelong Courthouse
Arts or make a whole day of it and join us at Barwon Park Mansion, just over a one
hour drive from Melbourne. Sunday’s concert includes entry to the National Trust
property Barwon Park Mansion a guided tour and a sumptuous High Tea.
