Scuba Paradise just off the Nanaimo Shores
It's a little known fact but British Columbia and Vancouver Island have some of the best scuba diving sites in the
world. Yes you read that correctly, Scuba Diving magazine regularly ranks various B.C. spots off the coast in the top
five in the world. The strong tidal currents sweeping through the narrow passes brings a bountiful supply of rich

downtown will bring you to one of the largest diver-prepared artificial reefs in the world, the 400+ft HMCS Cape
Breton. Sitting alongside the Breton is the 377 ft HMCS Saskatchewan artificial reef and the spectacular Snake
Island wall dive site. Many divers take advantage of this proximity to enjoy multi dive, multi day excursions in the
local waters.
