Arizona Coyotes mix1 Paw Patrol Job Description [2015-2016 Season] Job Title Job Title: mix1 Paw Patrol Department: Community Relations Reporting: Manager, Community Relations Status: Flat Rate Pay per Event Summary The Arizona Coyotes are looking for fun, energetic, outgoing individuals to become a part of the 2015-2016 mix1 Paw Patrol Entertainment Team. If you think you have what it takes to engage Coyotes fans in the stands, represent the Coyotes brand in the community and around the state, and promote our VIP sponsors in the Valley and during time outs, then you are an audition away from the job of your dreams! Tasks and Responsibilities Game Night: o Arrive early to every home game to set up and organize promotion props and prizes o Interact with and engage fans on the Gila River Arena plaza o Entertain fans during time out breaks as well as participate in games on the ice during intermissions o Skate during TV time outs to shovel and remove snow from the playing surface o Participate in promotions such as t-shirt tosses, prize giveaways, fan games, etc. Community Work: o Represent the Coyotes at offsite events including away game watch parties, sponsor events, and other officially sanctioned Coyotes events o Represent the Coyotes at charity and nonprofit events throughout the state o Participate in Coyotes and mix1 Paw Patrol volunteer events Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed by the Manager, Community Relations and Coordinator, Game Presentation Required Knowledge – Skills – Job Qualifications Knowledge, Skill and Ability o Be at least 18 years of age o Confidence in front of crowds of all sizes and comfortable being on camera o Ability to be creative, spontaneous, and think on your feet o Be physically fit and able to perform strenuous activities o Comfortable wearing a variety of athletic style uniforms o Strong knowledge of sports, specifically ice hockey o Able to walk out and/or skate onto the ice surface o Ability to collaborate and work well with others o Possess a friendly demeanor and interact with fans in a positive way o Must be able to work 90% of Coyotes home games at Gila River Arena o Must be able to work at least 4 community events per month from August 2015 – May 2016 o Must have flexible hours; including late nights, weekends and holidays. o Must be dependable o Must have a reliable source of transportation o Must have a positive attitude o Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to react quickly Education and Formal Training o Dance and/or Ice Skating experience is a plus o Must be a High School Graduate 1
