Web sites can be costly and Oz Handmade is an effective way of having your own store within the

Customers instead of freezing off their behind off or burning to a crisp at a traditional outdoor market they can BUY all
things handmade from the comfort of their lounge room and even in their PJ’s if they wish.
What type of store is available at OZ Handmade?
You can open a Monthly Store, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week, 365 Days of the year.
What is the benefit of having a store on OZ Handmade?
The benefit is that OZ Handmade does all the work for you.
It issues invoices to your customers and gets the customers to pay and
leave their address and contact details.
How much does a store cost?
The cost to open a store is nothing.
The only cost is $9.00 per month to have your store open.
Do you take commission on Sales?
No we DO NOT take commission.
We just require the low flat fee of $9 paid monthly, there is also no
uploading or listing fees.
When do I start attracting fees?
You only start attracting fee’s when your store goes live.
But you are requested to go live within 6 weeks of having your store open
for you or your store will be closed and you will need to re apply.
Can I put my store into Vacation?
Yes!!
We totally understand that sometimes you need time away from your
store to concentrate on other things, such as real life markets.
You can put your store into Vacation mode at any time.
Does OZ Handmade have a preview option?
Yes!
While you are setting up your store or attending a real life market you
can put your store into preview mode. This allows customers to be able to
see the items that are available but not able to purchase.
When do I pay my fees?
You will receive an invoice via PayPal, on or about the 26th of each
month. Depending on what time of the month you opened your store will
determine if you are billed in the current billing cycle or the next.

Do I need a credit card?
The good news is you DO NOT need a credit card.
Once you have received your invoice you can pay via PayPal or
contact me for EFT details.
Is there a limit to how much I can list on my store?
NO, there is no limit to the amount of items you can have listed on your
store. You can list just 2 items or 200 items the monthly fee will not
change. The more products you list the more cost effective your store will
be and the more range there is for customers.

features very high on the Google ladder.
Just type Handmade into your Google browser and you will see what we
mean.

You will receive payment via PayPal.
If a customer buys from more than one store, the monies will be sent to

PayPal. You will not be charged twice for fee’s from PayPal.
Unfortunately we have no control over the fee’s PayPal charge.
Do I need to have a PayPal account, in order to have a store?
Simply, Yes.
This is to keep the monthly store fee low.
What can’t I sell on Oz Handmade?
Basically as long as it is NOT mass produced and designed/made by
you! It can be sold on Oz Handmade. We also allow the sale of items
that complement handmade items. (example: oil burners to
complement soy melts, craft & sewing supplies must be new)
We DO NOT allow the sale of livestock, illegal or elicit items
(pornography, weapons, firearms, drugs or alcohol).
If you are not sure your products can be sold on Oz Handmade please
email [email protected] and we can discuss it further.
May I sell Vintage and Vintage Up-cycled products?
You may sell Vintage and Vintage Up-cycled products on OZ
Handmade. I ask that Vintage items be of good quality, NOT second
hand or Used. Vintage means older than 20 years. If items are found to
be of second hand quality (used) they will be deleted without
hesitation. If you are unsure if the product can be sold on OZ
Handmade please drop me an email at [email protected]
with a photo and brief description of product.
May I de-stash items (raw form) on OZ?
You may list items that are currently over stocked (de-stash) these
products must be in perfect condition and not used or second hand.
I know from time to time being in the handmade world we need to sell
off small amounts of excess stock (raw form) to make room for new!
Please do not use OZ to de-stash large quantities of stock all at once.
There is a category dedicated to de-stash so please use this category.
May I sell Supplies on Oz Handmade?
Yes you are permitted to sell CRAFT/SEWING supplies. Again these supplies must be new (not second hand or used). If you are unsure about
your products please email [email protected] to discuss
further.
