n°74 handmade for kids n°74 Numero 74, a story of friendship When Nancy, an Italian, gave birth to twins Giovanni and Alessandro, her French cousin Poupy offered to decorate the children’s bedroom. The two cousins wanted something beautiful and old, but found nothing to their liking. Poupy finally declarded : « Forget about it. I’m going to hunt for some real vintage furniture. I’ll even knit the bedcovers ! » And this is how n°74 came to exist... Numero 74, the right équation What is behind the name ? 74 is the sum of Nancy and Poupy’s age at the time they created the brand in 2009. 74 is also the year in which Nancy was born. So what is Poupy’s age ? Numero 74, who does what ? The two cousins design each collection together, then… Nancy handles Customer relations, administrative tasks and logistics. Poupy is in charge of production in Thailand. She buys the raw materials, monitors production and criss-crosses the world in search of inspiration.
