We look forward to welcoming our parents to this informative and interesting talk on the dangers and implications of social media. COUNSELLORS: Our Grade 7 Counsellors have just completed the second rotation of their duties during which time they performed various tasks over a weekly period. Their endeavours were evaluated by all the Grade 7 teachers on a daily basis and the pupils listed below have earned their first level status (red badge). We are delighted and proud to reward them for leadership development. The games will be played at the Harlequins Main Sports Field which borders the school. The Senior Tournament will take the form of a round robin competition with the top sides going into semis and finals. A trophy will be awarded at the conclusion of all the games. This is the first time the girls will be participating in the event and their matches will be run in a festival format. Parents are most welcome to join us. Please note that there will be no refreshments provided during the course of the Tournament. There will, however, be eats and drinks for sale. We suggest that each player takes a packed meal and drink in a disposable container with them, to enjoy at a suitable time. The bus will depart from the Sandton Campus at 13:00 for Pretoria. Matches will take place from 14:30 to ± 19:30. The bus will be expected back at the Sandton Campus between 20:30 and 20:45, traffic allowing. Parents attending may take their children home with them but must advise the relevant coach. We wish all participants a wonderfully enjoyable afternoon / evening of soccer when they will have the opportunity of playing against a number of other sides. INTER-CRAWFORD SOCCER FESTIVAL: The Inter-Crawford Soccer Festival will take place on Saturday, 9 May at Crawford Preparatory, Sandton. The Under 10,11 and 13 soccer boys and Senior Girls will be involved in these fixtures against the other Crawford schools. The tournament will commence at 08:00 and finish at 13:00.
