and interesting talk on the dangers and implications of social media.

CRAWFORD/MALAS NIGHT SOCCER FESTIVAL: Seven of our soccer teams have been invited to
participate in a 6-a-side event on Friday, 8 May at Crawford Preparatory, Pretoria Campus. The
games will be played at the Harlequins Main Sports Field which borders the school. The Senior
Tournament will take the form of a round robin competition with the top sides going into semis and
finals. A trophy will be awarded at the conclusion of all the games. This is the first time the girls will be
participating in the event and their matches will be run in a festival format. Parents are most welcome
to join us. Please note that there will be no refreshments provided during the course of the
Tournament. There will, however, be eats and drinks for sale. We suggest that each player takes a
packed meal and drink in a disposable container with them, to enjoy at a suitable time.
The bus will depart from the Sandton Campus at 13:00 for Pretoria. Matches will take place from
14:30 to ± 19:30. The bus will be expected back at the Sandton Campus between 20:30 and 20:45,
traffic allowing. Parents attending may take their children home with them but must advise the
relevant coach. We wish all participants a wonderfully enjoyable afternoon / evening of soccer when
they will have the opportunity of playing against a number of other sides.
INTER-CRAWFORD SOCCER FESTIVAL: The Inter-Crawford Soccer Festival will take place on
Saturday, 9 May at Crawford Preparatory, Sandton. The Under 10,11 and 13 soccer boys and Senior
Girls will be involved in these fixtures against the other Crawford schools. The tournament will
commence at 08:00 and finish at 13:00. We invite all parents to join us for an exciting morning of
