2nd BELGIAN CLASSIC GP Spa-Francorchamps 04-05 July 2015 SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS Art. 01 – Definition DG Sport will organize on 04 & 05 July 2015 during the Bikers’ Classics a classic motorbike race part of the FMB championship races (classes 3 & 4 from the Règlement Technique Classic Bike 2015) and IHRO races. These races are open to Belgian and foreign riders. The meeting will be held under the international FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) sport code, the European UEM (Union Européenne de Motocyclisme) sport code, the national FMB (Fédération Motocycliste de Belgique) sport code, the IHRO (International Historic Racing Organisation) sport code and the present supplementary regulations. The clerk of course, in agreement with the organiser, can exceptionally modify the regulations. Modifications will be noticed to the riders before practice sessions or before the races. These regulations are published in French, Dutch and English. In case of doubt regarding interpretation, the French version will prevail. Art. 02 – Track Track of Spa-Francorchamps (length : 7,004 Km). Races will run clockwise. It is the responsibility of the pilot and/or the owner of the motorcycle to present a bike corresponding to the eligibility regulations on pain of meeting exclusion without any registration fees refund. Art. 07 – Access to the track & administrative control Riders are asked to collect documents allowing access to the circuit & the paddock at the Welcome Center located in the Campus Automobile 60 Circuit Road 4970 Stavelot Thursday, 2 July 2015 between 2:00 pm and 9:00 p.m. Friday, 3 July 2015 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday 4 July 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Access to the paddock via Stavelot- Blanchimont only. The paddock will be available from Thursday 2 July at 2:00 p.m. Access by Blanchimont is located immediately after the Welcome Center. Passes for the Classic Belgian Grand Prix Each driver will receive the following documents: 1 armband ‘driver’ providing access to the enclosure of the circuit and the pit lane; 1 armband ‘mechanic’, giving access to the enclosure of the circuit and the pit lane; 1 Access card ‘paddock’ for the van / truck (paddock to be defined) 1 access card "car" for the P14 (direct pedestrian access to the paddock) . No additional access documents will be issued. All access documents must be collected at the Welcome Center No access is allowed without your documents. Beforehand, however, each driver may acquire additional armbands ‘assistant’ (entitling access to general admission and paddock) at promotional price of € 30 with the form that will be provided. Administrative checking (license) is required before moving to the technical control. This will be at the race office located at Suite 111 in F1 building- take the stairs / elevator to Core 2 , up to the F1 Box No. 9 to the 1st floor - follow the signs. Provisional version 26 March 2015 Administrative checking schedule (License): Friday 3 July from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm Saturday 4 July from 9.00 am to 10.00 am and from 2.30 pm to 3.00 pm A Compulsory riders briefing will be held on Friday evening around 19:30 h (7.30 pm) Location: briefing room # 132 on the 1st floor of the building F1 - Core 2 Failure to attend will mean that you will not be permitted to start. Art. 08 – ‘Newcomer’ Pilot It is insistently recommended to ‘newcomer’ pilots (without at least one complete season experience in a similar championship) to wear a security jacket (green or yellow) above their leather equipment. Art. 09 – Paddock The paddocks will be open from Thursday 2 July (2.00 pm) till Sunday 5 July (7.00 pm) Art. 10 – Technical scrutineering & eligibility Those controls (bike and equipment) are obligatory. Open on : Friday 3 July : from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm Saturday 4 July : from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm Art. 11 – Insurance DG Sport has contracted an insurance which covers the public liability of the riders in case of an accident during the event (practice sessions and races) Art. 12 – Time-keeping During the practices & the races we will use AMB transponders for the time-keeping. It will be possible to rent (15 €) such a transponder on the track (at the time-keeping college of the FMB). If you have your own AMB transponder, be sure he’s perfectly working and correctly loaded. Art. 13 – Timetable Free practice: Saturday 4 July 2015 from 11.30 am till 11.45 am Qualifying Practice: Saturday 04 July 2015 from 4.15 pm till 4.35 pm Races (6 laps): Sunday 5 July 2015 Race 1: start at 11.00 am Race 2: start at 2.20 pm Art. 14 – Podiums Sunday 05 July 2015 at IHRO stand at 4.00 pm The 3 best riders of each category will be rewarded. Art. 15 – Anti doping and alcohol level control All riders & passengers can be submitted to an anti-doping and alcohol level control on 04-05 July 2015 Art. 16 – Particular cases Particular cases will be solved by the clerk of course in agreement with the organizer. Keep your dogs on a lead. The use of mini-bikes, scooters and moppets is forbidden in the paddock. There are special containers for used oils, filters… Please use waste bags.
