FIXTURE LIST – SUMMER 2015
ALL TEAM & INDIVIDUAL LEAGUES
(Prone Rifle, Ladies, Bench Rest, Lightweight Sport Rifle, Dewar, 50-Metres, Air Pistol)
Do not forget, if you wish results to be returned by post, always enclose a SAE with your result slip and
the shot cards. If you are using Local Scoring, post or email the scores, together with a copy of your
scorer’s scoring ‘credentials’.
Note that LOCAL SCORING is Optional for LEAGUES ONLY! Your Scorer may ‘call in’ shot cards, hence ALL
cards must be stored until final results are published! The names and addresses of the Statistical Officers
(Scorers) to whom shot cards/scores must be sent is shown beneath the various Divisions listed on the enclosed
sheet; please make sure that you use the full address as shown. If cards go missing, you will need a Proof of
Posting (it’s free) to get reshoot. Remember that postage must be fully prepaid; your scorer does not expect to
have to pay excess postage plus a fee of £1, and has every right to refuse delivery!
With Individual Leagues, do not delay sending cards/scores if your result slip is not to hand. Use of email is
encouraged, but ensure up-to-date email addresses are used and given.
If shooting Leagues concurrent, shot cards or scores are forwarded to TEAM SCORER – give details and he will
notify appropriate Individual League scorer !!
ALL LEAGUES are divided into DIVISIONS with FOUR Teams or Individuals and will consist of NINE rounds shot
at, usually, fortnightly intervals.
NOTE that there is NO LIMIT to the number of Rounds you can shoot ahead!
A 'Bogey' substitute will be used to ‘make up’ Division numbers. Divisions of two will shoot all nine
rounds on a head-to-head basis. If a wide variation in average exists, scoring will probably be by
Percentage Improvement (P.I.); this will be indicated on the Division List. NSRA Rules will apply except
where otherwise stated; please read these rules with care to refresh your memory as we wish to avoid
any misunderstandings, and be sure that you are using a current copy of the rules.
It is strongly advised that you affix your labels to all the cards on receipt.
Cards must be shot in sequence at any time from the date of receipt of labels, up to and including the last day
for shooting that round. Please make use of this arrangement by shooting ahead and return shot cards/scores
early. Cards or scores must reach the scorer no later than the Saturday following the LDFS. You must inform the
Stats Officer if withdrawing or not returning cards or scores!
If a substitute in a team is used, attach his/her name & current average to the shot card(s).
Best wishes for an enjoyable winter season’s competition and good shooting to you all, especially any
newcomers to our leagues. Chief Stats: Lindsay Campbell
