Special Reminders
Trash Pickup
Garbage pickup is Tuesdays
and Fridays. Recycling is on
alternating Tuesdays. For
March it will be on the 10th
and the 24th in April it will be
the 7th and 21st.
Keep in mind that recycle bins
need to be on placed on the
swale not on street.
Cutler Cay Board Meeting Updates
On February 24, 2015, the Association had their monthly Board meeting
which was held at the Clubhouse, the below items were discussed:

The Board increased security hours and the rover will be working 24/7.

The Association will begin offering Pilates and Water Aerobics classes
mid March.

The Association’s attorney is trying to settle the steam room claim with
the insurance company.

The Board will send out notifications to homeowners and get involved
in order to fight the proposed zoning change for the wetland area
adjacent to the Community.

The Speed Hump Project will continue as soon as permits are
approved by the county.

CUTLER CAY’S HAPPY HOUR ETIQUETTE
1. During a Happy Hour Event, the Clubhouse terrace and pool deck
are open only for the event.
2. During a Happy Hour Event, only residents 21 & over may be in
the Clubhouse (unless residents are using the cardio/weight
rooms). Children are not allowed in the Clubhouse.
3. Smoking is limited to the parking lot area and will not be
permitted anywhere in the Clubhouse, terrace or pool area.
4. The Food and beverages are to be consumed at the event, none
shall be taken home.
5. Please do not take the Event’s decorations, containers, etc.
6. Eating and Drinking in the Lobby is not permitted at anytime.
The Association also offers FREE tennis clinics every Saturday for Cutler Cay
residents! These classes are conducted by a professional instructor.
All skill levels are welcomed!

Calling all tennis enthusiasts!
Join the Community Tennis Club!
Residents looking for tennis partners are encouraged to sign up for the tennis club.
These are friendly games conducted between residents! Players of all skill levels are welcomed!
Team captain will start an email list where residents who want to play reply to the e-mail to
confirm attendance, organized games of doubles will be conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 7-9pm. After playing every set, residents will be mixed and matched to make it fair for all
players. A reminder e-mail will be sent on Mondays and Wednesdays by the team captain.

Tennis Court Reservations
We realize many residents want to play tennis in the evening and with only two lighted courts, the
following rules must be adhered to in order for all residents to get a fair amount of play time.

No one is to play on the courts without signing in or having a reservation
A limit of 1 hour playtime at a time.
Reservations must be made by residents for any court time; Reservations may be made up to
two weeks in advance.
A limit of 1 reservation in advance per home a day. A limit of 2 advanced reservations per
house hold per week.
Instructors/ Trainers must pay the impact fee of $5.00 to the Association per class and $10.00
per clinic.
No clinics may be held by instructors after 6PM.
REMINDER: ARCHITECTURAL MODICATION REQUESTS
Keep in mind that ALL exterior modifications of the home must be approved
by the Cutler Cay Architectural Committee PRIOR to any work being started.
The Committee meets the 4th Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm. Please
submit your applications accordingly to avoid delay of work schedule. Any
work started before obtaining approval is subject to receiving a fine. Stop by
or contact the Clubhouse to request an ARC form.

GOLF CARTS
We see a growing number of golf carts in our community, which is great provided
that they follow the Cutler Bay Ordinance 10.03. This Ordinance includes the
following:
1. Drivers must hold a valid, current driver’s license or restricted driver’s license.
2. Golf Carts must follow traffic laws, including speed limit, stop signs.
3. No golf cart may be driven during the hours between sunset and sunrise without
being equipped with headlights, brake lights, turn signals and a windshield.
4. All golf carts must have the following equipment, rear view mirrors, red
reflectorized warning devices in the front and rear, rear stop lamps, turn signals,
and safety belts.
5. Golf carts cannot carry more passengers than those for which the golf cart was
designed.

Per Sec.11E of the Declaration of Covenants, No rubbish, trash, or garbage or other
waste material shall be kept or permitted on the Lots.
Therefore, homeowners must remove debris immediately
by taking it to the county dump or placing it in an
approved container.
Homeowners may NOT leave
garbage or waste for Miami Dade Bulky Waste services, as
this service does not provide for immediate pick up.
Homeowners in violation of this may be fined $100.00 a day
up to $1000.00
GARBAGE CANS: Please keep in mind that garbage containers
and recycle containers shall be placed in the garage or behind
a landscaped area, to not be visible from the street.
Garbage containers must be concealed at all times and only
be placed out after 6:00 pm the night before collection and
must be stored out of sight by 6:00pm the day of collection.
Please do not put the bins out on the street!
Vendor Hours
Deliveries, Move-in/Move-out, and vendors hours are from 8:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday-through Friday and 9:00 a.m to 5:00
p.m. on Saturdays. No work or moving on Sundays or Holidays.
No moving trucks, uhauls, vendor trucks or delivery trucks are
permitted to enter the property on Sundays or Holidays.
Anyone moving in will be required to show approval certificate
at guardhouse.
