Working with people with disabilities:
A Multi-Dimensional Approach
As Career and Educational professionals you encounter a wide
range of clients. Those with disabilities pose a unique challenge.
Some disclose their disabilities while others refrain from selfdisclosure. Whether they disclose or not, as a professional, you
want to provide effective support to best meet the needs of your
client.
Our two guest presenters will offer proven techniques to help you
work effectively with your clients. They will help you meet the
unique needs of your clients as well as approaches to improve job
development practices.
Don’t miss this opportunity to develop innovative ideas to work
more effectively with your clients.
The CWC Southeast Network is open to all workforce
development and adult education professionals and....
 is targeted to direct service and supervisory staff;
 provides a forum to share experiences, learn from your peers
about best practices, and discuss on-the-job challenges;
 is an opportunity to focus on at least one content area in small
group exercises, and includes announcements on workforce
development and adult education programs and events.
