prepare you for the rigorous study of Europe's history beginning with the Renaissance
through 2002. Join me in August for an adventure and the challenge of learning 500 years
of history.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1) Read in Western Civilization textbook:
Chapter 11: Late Middle Ages pages 274-300
Chapter 12: Age of Renaissance pages 302-333.
Answer the Focus Questions found at the beginning of each chapter. Your answers
need to be clear, concise and an indication of your best writing abilities. Be sure to include
important people, dates and events when needed. Grammar and punctuation are
important. Each response should be at least a paragraph (8-10 sentences).
Focus Questions are due on or before August 11. You may bring a hard copy to the
school office or email you assignment. I will collect mail the day it is due. Save a copy of
your assignments. Print your name on each page at the upper right corner.
