Jeff Mitchell Alumni Baseball Game
Support a Fallen Westmont Warrior
Join the Westmont Baseball Program as they continue to honor a true
hero. Jeff Mitchell, Westmont High School Class of 1986, loved his
friends, his family and the game of baseball. Jeff played on the Westmont team all four years of high school. In 1986, Jeff was selected as
a First Team, All-League Outfielder. That year, he helped the Warriors
win the League Championship. After graduation, Jeff enlisted in the
United States Air Force. He served his country with the same loyalty,
dedication and smile that he displayed during his time at Westmont.
Once he completed his service in the Air Force, began his career as a
California Sheriff in Sacramento County. In October 2006, Jeff Mitchell
was killed in the line of duty. He is survived by his wife, Crystal, and
his son, Jake (14). Friends and classmates fondly remember Jeff and
his ever-present smile.
Please come out to Westmont Diamond and show your support for Jeff Mitchell, a true Warrior, and help
the baseball program raise money for the Jeff Mitchell Memorial Baseball Scholarship Fund.
A donation of $5/person will be collected at the gate. Students, with an ASB card, will be asked to donate
$2.00 each. Great prizes will be raffled off throughout the game. Proceeds from the day will benefit the
Jeff Mitchell Memorial Baseball Scholarship Fund at Westmont High School..

Brick Fundraiser
Funds raised will support field improvements at Westmont Diamond
…leave your legacy...
on the new
“Home of the Warriors”
We invite you to join your teammates and coaches and leave a lasting legacy for yourself and other baseball alumni as
a part of our field improvement plans.
Once we receive District approval, we will install a new walkway, known as “Warrior Way,” which will take players and
fans right past the flagpole installed in honor of Deputy Jeff Mitchell. In an effort to beautify Jeff’s memorial, and to
create a lasting tribute to all Warrior baseball players and coaches -- past and present -- we have begun to install engraved bricks around the memorial in the shape of a home plate – the “Home of the Warriors!”
The baseball program has already placed bricks to honor past Championship teams, League M.V.P.’s and Warriors
who went on to play Major League Baseball. It is our intention to include engraved bricks on the inside of home plate
with only the names and messages of baseball players and coaches from Westmont High School…and that is where
we need your help. There are just over 200 spaces still available – and we would like to include an engraved brick for
you.
On behalf of the Warrior Baseball program, we would like to thank you in advance for your consideration. We hope that
