The Schoharie Mohawk Initiative for Science and Technology and the DACC will be hosting another summer of science,
technology, engineering and
math (STEM) fun.
The DACC is hitting the
road to Massachusetts

When: Thursday, June 11th, 2015
Where: The Log Cabin in Holyoke, The Mount in Lenox
Cost: $110 Members/$120 Potential
members.
The bus will leave the DACC at 8:30
am and will arrive in Holyoke at
approx.11:00. We will enjoy an hor
d’oeuvres welcome tray and a complimentary glass of wine. We will gather
for lunch at 12:00 for a BBQ ribs,
chicken and lobster feast and listen to
Dixieland Jazz and Ragtime music
after lunch. On the way home we’ll
stop in Lenox for a tour of Edith Wharton’s “The Mount”. After the tour we’ll
be free to visit the gift shop and stroll
the beautiful grounds until dusk, returning at approx. 8:00 pm.
Program Size: Maximum of 12
participants per program.

DACC Swim Lessons
Summer is almost here. Sign up
now for Spring Swimming Lessons. Our lessons fill up fast so
teach your child how to swim and
help keep them safe this summer.
Fee is $35 for members and $65
for potential members. Stop at the
front desk to register your child.
Summer Swim Team
The Duanesburg Electric Eels is a
year round competitive swim
team. The team competes with a
Winter and Suburban League as
well as in USA Swimming. Youth
swimmers of all ages are encouraged to tryout for the team. We
combine fun with competition. For

Group Lessons Don't

The DACC offers private swimming lessons. Cost is $25 an hour
or $180 for eight half-hour sessions for members and $220 for
potential members. You and your
instructor set the class time. For

Lifeguard Certification:
Participants will receive certifications in CPR for the professional
rescuer, first aid and lifeguarding
after they successfully complete
the course work.
Cost : $225 for members and
$300 for potential members
(includes all materials)
When: 5/16, 30, 6/13 and 27
Time: 11:00 am-4:00 pm
Lifeguarding Recertification:
This course is for individuals who
have their certification in lifeguarding, but need recertification.
Cost: $113 for members and $225
for potential members.

New Member First Workout
As part of our commitment to you,
we offer our new members 2
FREE workouts with one of our
Personal Trainers. (Your initial
evaluation and another session) In
these sessions your trainer will
work with you to create an achievable basic workout plan, teach you
about our facility’s equipment and
help you feel confident enough to
come back and work out on your
own. Make sure you fill our member “fitness risk assessment” form
and bring it with you when you
meet with a trainer.
New to our class line up
CardioKick Classes
Thursday’s @ 7:15 pm. Mix up
your routine with the balance, coordination and strength building
moves of boxing or kick boxing
while burning calories. This class
is a great full body workout, incorporating a broad range of movements. No matter which group
boxing class you choose, training
like this will physically prepare you
for whatever life throws your way.
FITNESS AT THE DACC
Soothing Sculpt
Friday’s @ 7:00 pm . This class is
the combination of your favorite
basic stretch and sculpt movements from Yoga, Pilates, and Tia
Chi with an added section that incorporates light weights. Come
and be challenged and inspired.
