Experience The Land and The Book
MARCH 6 - 17, 2016
Walk with me
in the Land of Jesus!
Dear Friend,
For thousands of years, no place has been more precious to God’s
children than the land of Israel. God used the land to shape the
lives of His people in the Bible—and He is doing the same today.
Visiting the Holy Land is an unforgettable, faith-maturing experience.
Every time I’ve had the privilege to go, I have always returned home
personally changed . . . really, every time.
But that personal transformation is conditional. Without context
and understanding, Israel is just a great vacation spot with
beautiful scenery and great cuisine. But we’re after more . . .
That’s why we’ve specially designed the Insight for Living Ministries 2016 Israel Tour to be more
than a journey through history in an exotic part of the world. Our tour is customized with rich
and meaningful experiences built right in. The places we’ll visit, the people we’ll meet, the songs
we’ll sing, the sites we’ll see, and the talented featured guests who will serve us have been
carefully chosen with ministry to you in mind.
No organization I know of combines this level of instruction with the inspiration, experience and
enrichment that Insight for Living Ministries provides for our tour travelers. In keeping with our
commitment to communicate biblical truth in a practical way, we also provide you with unique
Bible study materials to help you prepare for each biblical site. And to help you grasp each site’s
biblical and historical significance, we bring along a highly qualified team of professors from
Dallas Theological Seminary to complement our hand-picked Israeli guides.
I will be teaching from God’s Word at strategic locations along the way. We’ll worship at the
Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus taught His Sermon on the Mount. On another day, gifted artists
will lead us in musical and dramatic presentations in the same place where kings have sat and
looked out on the Mediterranean. We’ll sail the Sea of Galilee, and we’ll visit other places where
Jesus spent most of His time. Our hearts will be knit together in one profound experience after
another, culminating when we share the Lord’s Table at the intimate, quaint Garden Tomb in
Jerusalem. What an unforgettable life experience this tour will be!
If you’ve ever longed to visit Israel, I urge you to take advantage of this outstanding opportunity.
Examine this brochure . . . then seriously pray about joining us. Dream a little. Imagine walking
along those sacred places. Let’s start planning for the trip of a lifetime together!
I urge you to make your reservation soon, due to our limited space. As always, we expect an
overwhelming response . . . and I don’t want you to miss out.
Anticipating great things ahead,
Charles R. Swindoll

The Blessings of Christian Travel
GETAWAY WITH GOD
God created us to know and enjoy Him in a
personal way. Your time among the ancient,
holy backdrop of Israel—where the settings
and stories of the Bible spring into life—will
deepen your faith as you reconnect with
your Savior.
CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
Time together with like-minded believers is
essential to our faith and one of the great
hallmarks of Christian travel. From one
unforgettable moment to another in the land of
the Bible, you’ll meet new friends, deepen existing
friendships and reconnect with loved ones.
INSIGHTFUL BIBLE TEACHING
God’s Word is living, active and specific
in its guidance for our lives. Understand
Scripture anew as you explore the places
it was written. Prepare your heart to hear
God’s voice through powerful teaching as
you encounter His Word like never before.
WONDE R-FILLED WORSHIP
He created us to worship Him, and praising
His name lifts the spirit of every believer.
Imagine worshiping Him in Israel, near the
very places where Jesus taught, died, and
rose again. He inhabits our praises. In the Holy
Land, this is an experience you’ll never forget.
SPIRITUAL RENEWAL
Pausing from the stresses of our fast-paced
modern lives is more important now than
ever. Along Israel’s ancient cobblestone
streets and paths, you’ll fellowship with
other believers, enter His restful presence,
and return home restored.
Passenger Experiences
Got to go to church on Sunday, of all days, on the Southern Steps.
Having a hard time getting my mind around where Jesus walked and talked.
Having a fun time imagining shepherds on the hillsides, and people milling around
with their arts and crafts is really touching. To think, that was right here in this
location. We put feet to our faith. [This tour is] bringing the Bible to life.
We look at the Scripture and then look out and see it.
— S.L. FROM CALIFORNIA & D.B. FROM KANSAS, IFL ISRAEL TOUR PASSENGERS
It has been very exciting . . . we’re all Christians and we
broke out into song on our bus, and having Chuck to preach to us has just
made it touch your heart a little more.
— E.B. FROM VIRGINIA, IFL ISRAEL TOUR PASSENGER
Insight for Living puts on a great tour. Everything goes smoothly and everyone
knows what they are doing, and I would recommend if you can come, come . . .
— G.T. FROM MISSOURI, IFL ISRAEL TOUR PASSENGER
It’s given me a much greater understanding of the Old Testament. I’ve had
opportunity to study the Old Testament like I haven’t had before. This gives me such
a greater depth of understanding.
— B.T. FROM MISSOURI, IFL ISRAEL TOUR PASSENGER
I can't express enough what an
amazing experience this was. Attention to
detail is an understatement. The scheduling
was perfectly orchestrated to maximize
every moment of this adventure.
